Payment Processing

We advise high-risk businesses on payment setups built with redundancy, so one acquirer dropping you slows you down rather than stopping you.

A single acquirer is a single point of failure. When that acquirer drops your MCC, terminates over a chargeback ratio, or files you to MATCH, every payment your business takes stops at once. Operators who scaled on one PSP learn this the hard way, usually mid-loss.

We advise on processing built the way it should have been from the start: a primary and a backup acquirer, reserve terms you can live with, and failover so one offboarding is a slowdown rather than a shutdown.

02What we do

Where Payment Processing starts and ends

  • Place a primary acquirer matched to your MCC, geography, and chargeback profile.

  • Add a backup acquirer on separate rails so a single termination never takes all of your revenue.

  • Negotiate rolling reserve percentages and hold periods rather than accepting the first terms offered.

  • Advise on chargeback mitigation and ratio management before it crosses the threshold that triggers a drop.

  • Set up routing and failover so volume can move between acquirers without a rebuild.

In practice, it runs like this
03How it works

Four steps, one senior team

  1. 01

    Risk and volume review.

We assess your MCC, current chargeback ratio, ticket sizes, and geography to see which acquirers will hold your volume.

  2. 02

    Primary placement.

We place the main acquirer and negotiate the reserve and pricing, named under NDA after intake.

  3. 03

    Redundancy layer.

We add a second acquirer on separate rails and configure routing so failover is a switch, not a project.

  4. 04

    Live and monitored.

With both live, we advise on ratio management so neither acquirer reaches the point of dropping you.

04What we will need from you

The documents that move a file forward

A complete file is the difference between a fast approval and a stalled one. This is what we will ask for at intake. If you are missing a policy, we draft it rather than send you away.

  • Recent processing statements showing volume and chargeback ratio
  • Your current MCC and a description of what you sell
  • Existing acquirer or PSP agreements, including any termination notices
  • Refund and chargeback handling procedures
  • Company and beneficial ownership documents
  • Any MATCH or TMF listing details, if you have been filed

05How this plays out

One anonymized case

Adult platform, 1.4% chargeback ratio. Its sole acquirer terminated with five days notice, freezing every payment rail overnight.

A second acquirer live in 26 days, routing configured so no single termination can do that again.

If your case looks different, that is exactly what the check is for.

Frequently asked

My acquirer just dropped me. How fast can you re-place me?

Re-placement timelines depend on your MCC and ratio, but a clean file moves in weeks rather than months. We prioritise getting one acquirer live first, then add the redundancy that should prevent a repeat.

I am on the MATCH list. Is processing still possible?

A MATCH listing makes placement harder, not automatically impossible. We do not claim to remove anyone from MATCH, and you should distrust anyone who does. We advise on acquirers who assess listed merchants case by case.

Can you lower my rolling reserve?

Often, yes. Reserve terms are negotiable, and the first offer is rarely the floor. We negotiate the percentage and hold period as part of placement rather than accepting default terms.

What does it cost?

Engagements start from 1,500 EUR plus the institution’s own onboarding fees. The exact scope is quoted in writing after the free check, before you commit to anything.
